Build your live streaming infrastructure with experts.

For live streams, webinars, video meetings and chat rooms, we choose the right technology, calculate the cost in advance and build the system end to end.
Let's build together
WHY VANTAWORKS

A team that runs live systems.

We have solved, in live environments, the problems that occur on different mobile carriers and weak connections; your viewers can join the stream whichever carrier they use. We know the audience multiplies the moment a stream starts, and we build the infrastructure for that moment. We explain clearly which technology we choose and why, and we stay with you after going live.

Where it is used
Live commerce

Live shopping and auctions

The product is presented live and bids reach everyone at the same time. No one misses a bid because of latency.

Live classes and webinars

Participants ask questions during the class and rewatch the classes they missed.

WebRTC and HLS

Which technology should you choose?

There are two core technologies in live streaming. Which one to choose depends on how much the audience takes part in the stream.

WebRTC · under half a second
Viewers join the stream instantly

A question asked, a bid placed or a vote cast reaches the stage at that very moment; the delay is as short as a phone call. Ideal for interactive streams and live commerce.

HLS · a few seconds to half a minute
On every device, for large audiences

The stream is split into small segments and delivered over a CDN. Every browser and device plays it without anything extra, and quality adapts to the connection. Ideal for streaming to very large audiences at low cost.

When needed, we use both together: people on stage and active participants connect over WebRTC, the wider audience over HLS.

How we work

We are with you from the first question to going live.

01

We clarify the need

How many people will you stream to, how much will viewers take part, where should recordings be kept? The right architecture comes from the answers to these questions.

02

We choose the technology

WebRTC, HLS or both? A ready-made service such as Amazon IVS, or your own infrastructure with LiveKit or Ant Media? We lay out the options with their pros and cons.

03

We calculate the cost in advance

You know the monthly cost based on audience size, stream duration and video quality before the system is built.

04

We build and scale

We build the system together with the web and mobile apps, and scale the infrastructure with you as your audience grows.

During the stream

Viewers don't just watch, they take part.

Interaction tools work on the same screen as the stream; viewers don't switch to another app.

Live chat

Viewers chat with each other and with the host throughout the stream.

Q&A and moderation

Questions are upvoted, and the moderator sends approved questions to the host's screen.

Polls and voting

Results update on everyone's screen as votes come in.

Reactions and notifications

Emoji reactions flow over the stream; a mobile notification goes out when the stream starts.

Recording and replay

The stream is recorded and can be rewatched from the same place after it ends.

Cost

You know the cost before the stream starts.

The biggest surprise in live streaming usually comes with the first invoice. Starting from your audience size, stream duration, video quality and recording needs, we calculate the monthly cost in advance and put the cost of running in the cloud and on your own servers side by side.
