Case studies / Limak Life

Six enterprise systems in one app, and tasks can be done by chat too.

Built on the Xtranet platform, Limak Life brings the group's enterprise systems together in one internal app. With the app's AI assistant, employees can do almost any task by typing, without navigating menus.

CLIENT
Limak employees logged into different systems for different tasks every day: one app for leave, another for documents, yet another for approvals. Each system had its own screens, its own password and its own habits. The goal of Limak Life was for employees to reach all of these systems from a single app.

Each system worked on its own, but there was no link between them. For employees, even the simplest process meant going back and forth between several screens. Approval flows and roles also differed from one group company to another; no single template fit them all.

We connected the six systems to Limak Life without changing how they are set up. Leave balances, approval status and documents come live from their source. Each group company defines its own modules, approval flows and roles without writing code, and employee, company and position details update automatically from the HR system.

The app's AI assistant is connected directly to the actions in Xtranet. When employees want to check a leave balance, give a pending approval or find a document, they write it in their own words. The assistant understands the request, runs the right action in Xtranet with the necessary details and brings the result back into the chat. The same permission rules apply here as in the rest of the app.
