Case studies / Zorlu PSM

We develop Zorlu PSM's apps and website at the pace of the season.

We took over the digital channels while they were live. Today we develop several features in parallel and release each one as soon as it is ready.

Since opening in 2013, Zorlu PSM has welcomed close to 8 million art lovers; in 2024 alone it hosted 700,000 people across 1,100 events. Audiences first meet this programme on the website and the apps: that is where they discover events and use perks for young people. These channels also need to live up to the venue's reputation.

The programme changes throughout the season, with new festivals and campaigns added along the way, and the website and apps have to keep up. When we took over the project, our priority was to understand and own a system that had grown over the years, without breaking anything that was live.

We reviewed the codebase, servers and external integrations, and documented the critical flows and release steps. Then we set up a development process that fits the pace of the season: each feature is developed separately, verified in a test environment and released when it is ready. Five to six features move forward in parallel, and a finished feature reaches the audience without waiting for the others.

Perks for young people and seasonal campaigns go live at this pace. The programme team enters each of the more than a thousand events a year in the panel once; the website and both apps draw from the same source, and new events reach the audience through notifications.
